Western Union® has offered its customers electronic money transfer for over 150 years. Each transfer can be tracked using a money transfer control number, ensuring that your money is available to be paid out quickly to your specified receiver.

Money is available for collection just minutes* after it is sent. Western Union®’s advanced technology and its unique worldwide computer network ensures immediate payout in more in more than 200 countries and territories globally.
Speed
Senders and receivers can go to any of Travelex’s 320,000 locations world-wide to collect or send money**. It’s not necessary to have a bank account. Many agent locations offer convenient hours of service throughout the week all year long.
To send or receive money
To send and receive money, simply visit a Travelex store and fill out the appropriate Western Union® Money TransferSM form. Click here to locate your nearest Travelex store.
To Send Money
To send money using Western Union® Money TransferSM, give your Travelex Sales Consultant a completed “To Send Money” form. Include the amount of money you wish to send plus sending costs and a valid Government Photo identification document (including a test question if required).
The money transfer information is entered into Travelex’s computerised system by your Travelex Sales Consultant.
Your Travelex Sales Consultant will give you a receipt with a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
Simply call the receiver to tell him/her the amount of money sent and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) to complete your Western Union® Money TransferSM.
To Receive Money
To receive money using Western Union® Money TransferSM, give your Travelex Sales Consultant a completed “To Receive Money” form. Indicate the country the money was sent from, the name of the sender, the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) and the amount you are expecting.
Give your Travelex Sales Consultant the form and valid Government Photo identification document (including a test question if required).
Your Travelex Sales Consultant will give you your money and a receipt.
